Adelina is a mother, author, and business consultant. Born in the Dominican Republic, and raised in Manhattan by her mother, on the border of project buildings and sky scrapers, between New York and Dominican Republic, her writing is a sancocho; a delicious soup of poetry, personal essay, and memoir. Her writing has been a tool for self love, honesty, healing and growth.

Adelina is a 2017 VONA Alumn, a 2018 Writing Our Lives participant, a 2019 Winter Tangerine poetry participant, and a 2020 Volcanista.

Her poetry is published in various anthologies including Vagabonds, Aurora Poetry, and Wundor Editions.
